Why Did You Want
to Become a Dentist?
Growing up, Dr. Grosskopf loved watching the classic movie version of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. She always looked forward to seeing Hermey in particular, the character of the misfit elf who dreamed of becoming a dentist. He inspired her to become a dentist herself, and she’s never looked back!
Where Did You
Study Dentistry?
Dr. Grosskopf’s college career started at the University of Texas at Austin, where she achieved her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition. From there, she went on to pursue her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Following graduation, she also attended a two-year General Practice Residency at the Medical College of Georgia, which focused on oral surgery, dental implant placement, and providing treatment to medically complex patients, as well as another two-year residency at the University of Pennsylvania in Oral Medicine that emphasizes the treatment of oral lesions and facial pain. Today, she is Board-Certified in Oral Medicine.
